A remake and variation of a piece Time and Place For a Sermon is a preaching happening with various locations and visual settings on Harakka island. During the event invited or volunteer participants can preach in any way they want. The sermons are accessible also online through instalive @harakan_taiteilijatalo
The piece explores the form of a sermon and the possible ways the communication within a sermon, preaching, could be performed and interpreted differently. Could preaching be approached as something that is related to love and joy rather than guilt and the threat of a sentence?
